Meerkats and Avatars 2011: Had a great day at this event, held at St. Johns Innovation Centre on the 6th December. We were one of the busiest stands, and carried out 12 gait tests on journalists and business angels throughout the day. The event was also filmed by the BBC. We would like to thank Rebecca and Janet for inviting ETB to the event.
Harlequins Rugby League: We have just measured the majority of the senior team using Gait Trainer. The Harlequins physiotherapists want to understand how their players movement is affected with training and rehab after injury. More importantly they want objective measurement so they can track progress. Keep checking back to see how things are progressing.
Longmead Day Centre: We have just been back to Longmead Day centre following the balance class that Stella Hines runs. We have been following these elderly people aged from 70 to 92 years of age with the Gait Trainer since last September. We have found that the classes are working and the people are maintaining a symmetric gait pattern. Gait Trainer immediately picks up issues with the way they are moving, which enables Stella to modify their exercises on an individual basis. Next time we will get some photographs of the people in the class, keep looking back.
Woofwear is our boot provider: Pegasus is proud to announce Woof Wear is our sole supplier of brushing boots, specially adapted to hold the cannon bone sensors. We are pleased to be working with such a renowned name in the equine world, as the quality and service we have received is second to none. We look forward to a long and happy partnership with the staff down in Cornwall
Equine Extravaganza: After our successful demos of the first day Diana and Jo returned to the fabulous World Horse Welfare venue excited to show off what Pegasus can do. We have stepped up a gear and are now measuring both horse and rider and their interaction – fascinating stuff! The two day event itself was brilliantly organised, entirely in keeping with the WHW ethos of improving horse welfare, and full of interesting things to learn for all equestrian enthusiasts. Well done Chris for setting up this great new event – Pegasus will look forward to joining you again next year!
