November 2000
ETB has been awarded ISO9001.  20th November 2000 ETB was accredited with ISO9001 for Design and Manufacture of Sensors.  Operations Director Denis Hodgins was highly delighted with the award as no changes to the processes that were put into place when the company was founded had to be changed.

The company who carried out the audit were QMS Quality Management systems Ltd Tel: 01603 630345.

The funding to help achieve ISO9001 was helped by an assisted consultancy award from the Business Link.  If you wish to know more email john.christopher@herts.businesslink.co.uk.

ETB have been awarded a teaching company scheme (TCS) which is a Government backed imitative to help companies carry out technology transfer.  The TCS scheme is to help ETB to formulate design rules for micro system technologies.  Our partner in the TCS is the University of Hertfordshire.

A group of UK design houses, specialising in microsystem technology (MST) has recently established the "MST Design" consortium. The consortium is funded by the European Commission under the 'Europractice' initiative and provides a wide range of technologies and expertise.
