Cesmas 2008, two papers given at the conference, by Dr. Jeremy Naylor, and MSc student Debbie Holmes were well received. The topics were;

Validation of a Noval Accelerometer-GPS system for measuring stride characteristics in galloping horses (click here to download)

Stride characteristics of galloping Thoroughbreds: do they differ between constant and incremental speed exercise tests? (click here to download).

The papers show how new technology can now easily assist in the training of racehorses.
