A EU Framework 6 project securing valued at €26M, with 26 partners across 10 countries called Healthy Aims is nearing completion after four years.

The project has recently produced a video showing the scope and technical excellence of what has been achieved. These partners have developed a range of medical systems and implants to help the aging population and those with disabilities. The project is funded under the IST Microsystem programme and combines experts from a wide range of disciplines.

ETB are the Coordinator for the project, but they also have responsibility for the design of the activity monitor and are also technical design for the low cost disposable electronic catheter system. To read more about Healthy Aims visit the project web site www.healthyaims.org
